Westside High School’s Dance Marathon raised $26,697.35 for Children’s doubling their fundraising goal

In its inaugural year of Dance Marathon, the Westside High School Warriors doubled their original goal of raising $10,000 and raised $26,697 for Children’s Hospital & Medical Center. Funds raised will support the naming of two pre/post operating rooms in the surgery department.  Over 122 students signed up to support the first annual event held May 10, 2022. Students enjoyed the superhero theme with festivities that included a food truck, live band, and Children’s patient families speaking at the event.

In recognition of the students’ superb efforts, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals awarded Westside High School with the Best New Dance Marathon – High School award.
